About My Straps
Original designs hand-made at my dining room table
Straps are where I started my ukulele accessories journey. I was gifted my first uke for Mother's Day a few years ago and I wanted a gorgeous, unusual strap. I am a professional fibre and textile artists so the next step was obvious. I would make my own. I fell in love with the process and can't stop making.
They are available in my Folksy shop or by commission if you want something really special.
I make 4 kinds of straps: Everyday Straps, Special Straps, Extra Special Straps and Custom Straps
They are adjustable in length to fit all body sizes and shapes
They all come in 3 widths:
Narrow - 1 inch or 2.5cm
Standard - 1.5 inches or 3.8cm
Wide - 2 inches or 5cm
Custom straps can be any length or width to suit

They are not ordinary straps
These may be painted, printed, embroidered, beaded, have unusual or quirky features
Everything is lovingly and carefully crafted by hand to make a stand-out, statement strap while retaining all the important features for 'useability' and comfort

Exactly what you want and how you want it.

I can even put your name on it, your uke's name, your band name, your club name, your favourite cheese ...
