About My Straps

Original designs hand-made at my dining room table

My straps are where I started. I wanted a gorgeous, unusual strap for my ukulele but at a reasonable price. The straps I found were either poor quality, expensive or half-way around the world. I am a professional fibre and textile artists so the next step was obvious. I would make my own. I fell in love with the process and now it is time to share my designs.

I make 4 kinds of straps: Everyday Straps, Special Straps, Extra Special Straps and Custom Straps

They are adjustable in lenght to fit all body sizes and shapes

They all come in 3 widths:

Narrow - 1 inch or 2.5cm

Standard - 1.5 inches or 3.8cm

Wide - 2 inches or 5cm

Custom straps can be any length or width to suit

They are not ordinary straps

These may be painted, printed, embroidered, beaded, have unusual or quirky features

Everything is lovingly and carefully crafted by hand to make a stand-out, statement strap while retaining all the important features for 'useability' and comfort
